About SMUG Bag Company

The SMUG Bag company is a Scotland based cottage industry  that came around one wintery day when struggling with transporting smelly and dirty horse rugs to the tack shop to be cleaned.

There never seemed to be a day went by when taking the rugs off the horses that we managed to get the rugs off and not end up totally contaminated by the smell and the dirt from the rugs.

SMUG Bag came about as it was becoming more difficult to place a smelly rug into a black bin liner without either ripping it or having difficulty placing it in the bag ready for transporting.

The SMUG Bag is as easy as 1, 2, 3.  All you need to do is unzip it and lay it on the ground, put the rug on the SMUG Bag and then simply zip it up ready to take to the store to be cleaned.  By doing this you have managed to get the smelly rug off the horse without covering yourself in all the lovely aromas that come with it.  Not only do you not cover yourself in the aromas, your car does not end up smelling like a stable as the smelly rug is easily contained within the SMUG Bag.
